Aubrey L. (Buddy) Edwards, III has been in the real estate business since 1969 and a real estate broker since 1975.  He owned and operated Montgomery Associates, Inc., a real estate brokerage firm in Danville, Kentucky from 1975 until the Fall of 1991. The firm originally handled residential sales and by the mid-1970s, specialized in upscale homes and land sales throughout Central Kentucky.  In October 1991, Buddy was hired as a Sales Consultant for the Washington, DC based Riggs National Bank to dispose of a $200 million real estate portfolio-an assignment which Buddy completed in the Spring of 1995. In May of 1995, Buddy then began an affiliation with Haymaker/Bean Commercial Real Estate.  This afforded Buddy the opportunity to do commercial work, land sales, and utilize the tremendous four-year experience of working for the Riggs National Bank in Washington, DC. Buddy has handled several land sales throughout Kentucky on behalf of numerous clients including individuals, banks, estates and Centre College.  Buddy is a native of Louisville and lives in Danville. He is a graduate of Transylvania University. He and his wife Elayne have two grown children. He has been active in the Danville Community Theater, the Rotary Club-having served two terms as its President, and has served on the board of the American Cancer Society. He has served as a Junior and Senior Warden on the Vestry of Trinity Episcopal Church in Danville and as a former Trustee of Chatham Hall School in Chatham, Virginia.

Steve Bean, a native of Oak Ridge Tennessee has lived in Lexington Kentucky for over 30 years. A graduate of the University of Tennessee, Steve obtained his Certified Commercial Member (CCIM) in 1991 and The Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) in 2003. He has been active over his real estate career with numerous industry related organizations and is a strong supporter of continuing education for new and active members of each organization.


Steve began his career with Roadway Express. He then moved to Lexington with Triad Systems in the computer sales industry. In 1986, Steve joined First Security Realty and after 2.5 years became the Vice President of First Security National Bank, Trust Investment, Real Estate Department. With his current move in 1991, Steve is the co owner of Haymaker/Bean Commercial Real Estate. He is active in all aspects of commercial brokerage, property management and the daily operations of the company.

Colleen B. Barr was born and raised in Lexington, Kentucky. After graduating from Henry Clay High School in 1992, Colleen graduated with honors with a degree in Finance from the University of Alabama in 1996. During the summer of 1995, Colleen lived in Hong Kong while working for Holiday Inn Asia Pacific conducting feasibility studies related to the acquisition of hotel properties throughout New Zealand. Colleen received her Masters of Business Administration from the University of Louisville in 1997. Colleen became a Real Estate agent in 1997 and began working as a commercial leasing/sales agent for Haymaker/Bean Commercial Real Estate in 1998. Colleen continued her education by obtaining a Brokers License and the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation. She was the 2008 Vice President and 2009 President of the Commercial Property Association of Lexington (CPAL), has served on the board of the Kentucky Chapter of CCIM, and is a member of the National Association of Realtors. For over 16 years, Colleen has successfully assisted in the sales and leasing of industrial, retail, land, and office properties in Lexington and the surrounding areas.

Colleen is an active committee chair member of the Cassidy Elementary School Parent Teacher Association, a PTA member and volunteer at Morton Middle School, and is a member of Christ the King Church.

Andy Haymaker has been a resident of Lexington for 35 years and is currently involved in commercial real estate, land development, and residential construction. He holds degrees in finance and economics from the University of Kentucky and is a commercial agent with Haymaker/Bean Commercial Real Estate, President of HM Property & Investments, Vice President of Haymaker Development Company and Managing Member for both HM Mundy Properties and Haymaker Land Company. Outside of his professional life, Andy has served on Mayor Jim Newberry’s Finance Committee and served on the Mayor’s Destination 2040 Steering Committee. He has chaired both the LexArts' Campaign for the Arts and the Keenland Concours Gala for KY Children’s Hospital, and continues to serve the community in various positions. He was named a University of Kentucky Patterson Fellow in 2006 and serves as a deacon at Central Christian Church. Andy and his wife, Brooke, currently reside in Lexington.

Tim Haymaker is a native of West Virginia and a graduate of Marshall University where he is a member of the Marshall University Pathway of Prominence, the McDowell Business School Hall of Fame, the John Marshall Society, and the Marshall University Big Green Foundation. Tim was awarded an Honorary Doctorate in 2005 from Marshall University. Tim also serves on the University of Kentucky Business Partnership Board and serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the University of Kentucky Real Estate Foundation. Tim also serves as a Director of the Kentucky Horse Park Commission as well as its Foundation.

Professionally, Tim began his career in sales with Proctor and Gamble before turning to real estate. He spent his first years in the residential business before becoming the manager of Corporate Real Estate for Ashland Oil, Inc. He then moved to First Security National Bank as Vice President of Real Estate before starting Haymaker/Bean Commercial Real Estate in 1989. While Tim is active in the commercial brokerage company he spends most of his time as owner of Haymaker Development Company and Pinnacle Development II Company. His projects include Beaumont Centre, a mixed use development, and Pinnacle, Tuscany, Summerfield and Coventry residential communities, Century Business Centre and Citation Business Park. Together those projects encompass nearly 2,200 acres in Fayette County, Kentucky. Tim has 45 years of real estate experience.

Frank Mattone has over 20 years of private real estate sales and leasing experience in central business district and suburban commercial real estate markets in Lexington and surrounding counties. Prior to the private sector, his experience includes 14 years as a professional in the public sector land use planning, administration of local government regulations and city management in Ohio, Virginia and Lexington.

Mattone, a University of Kentucky graduate architect, also holds a Miami University masters degree in urban planning. Demonstrated skills necessary to help insure a successful venture might include project scope development, financial strategies, coordination of professional and construction services, leasing, property management and governmental liaison as illustrated in over $160 million in completed real estate projects in and around central Kentucky.

Frank was active in the Home Builders Association of Lexington, having served on its board and as chairman of its Developer's Council. He also served on the boards of the Downtown Lexington Corporation, Bluegrass Tomorrow and CPAL.

Frank and his wife Mina, who is also active in real estate and local civic affairs, have three grown children.

Leah C. Robey has been associated with Haymaker/Bean Commercial Real Estate for 22 years. Leah has been involved in most every aspect of the company including property management, retail and professional office space leasing, residential lot sales and home owner association liaison for four residential communities developed by Haymaker Development Company.

Prior to Leah’s association with Haymaker/Bean she worked in the marketing department at First Security National Bank.

Originally from Owensboro, Kentucky, Leah and her husband Kevin have lived in Lexington for over 20 years and have two young daughters. Leah is a former member of the Junior League of Lexington where she chaired and served on numerous committees and is a past president of the Volunteer Center of the Bluegrass.
